Wanting a "crisper" looking coaster I decided try something different then what I did for my
first coaster. Instead of removable templates this time I used a heavy weight fusible interfacing. Before basting the fabric edges down I ironed the fusing into place. Rather than making it reversible I just made 1 hexagon flower and whip stitched a piece of upholstery faux suede onto the back. I would show a picture of the back but my stitching is rather embarrassing :)
