patera pendant

A few years ago I bought a little patera pendant kit.  I shouldn't have waited so long to make my pendants - the Gel du Soleil (source and how to) resin was solidified in its bottle when I went to use it today.  Not sure if I'll get some more resin or not.  Here are my pendants with just a gel medium coating.  They are little ink drawings on paper.

One creative thing I plan to do everyday is a sketch.  Today I made a little sketchbook for my daily sketch.  Normally I like to make books with a sewn binding but for sketching I prefer a simple hardcover wire bound book.  The one I made is 8" square with a little origami paper decoration on the cover.

getting started

My goal is to just create every day.  Doesn't matter what, just as long as it is something.  Seems like lately I've been doing far more accumulating than making and in setting up this blog I hope to push myself into a creating mode.  My current creative interests include: painting, drawing, bookbinding, origami,  paper crafting, marbling, knitting, jewelry making.  All with a leaning towards re-use/ upcycling.

Today I'm creating this blog, tomorrow I'll create some art.
